In October 2011, Alexander had several strokes, one of which was quite a significant hemorrhage. You can read about his recovery at his blog, Scratch One Life. While his dysarthria makes his utilty as a voice talent very specific, he is still available for dialect, scene and vocal coaching.
Trained at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Alexander Newman's voice has been heard in contexts as diverse as Google Maps videos and roleplaying game promotions. He is a native RP speaker, with a flair for the UK's regional dialects, and is a resident of New York City.
